I am a new believer in Christ. I have searched the Bible to find the portion of scripture that talks about a group of people that are left behind in the world after the rapture of the church takes place. I cannot find it anywhere! there are no direct scriptures that points to any group after the rapture of the church of Jesus Christ but there are many references that shows that there will be people, who where lukewarm in their walk with God before the catching away of the church and those who just refused to take the mark of the beast, it is they that will be the ones that will form the resistance to hold up the name of Christ for others to believe in Jesus.and it is with their very lives they would do this as the scripture says in Rev. 3:21,12:11, 2:11. There are many more Scriptures that points to the conditions after the body of Christ has left this earth but i leave that for another time, hope this helped.
Not only is scriptual authority wanting for pre-tribulation eschatology, but Christ himself refers to the time AFTER that tribulation, as though most were not EVEN aware of it…the danger may be our insensate disregard for signs that are clear: SIGNS in the EARTH, in the MOON, and the SUN. There are enough secular phenomena since 2000 to count for most of the “fringe” being attenuated to apocalypse. My fear is that the church will prove Laodicean; but “Watch” mean “make vigil”, to be on your guard. Unborrow from the world.
